Oberlin Real Estate and Auctioneers is owned and operated by Don L. Oberlin. The business was started by his father Duane Oberlin in 1956. In 1969 Duane became an independent owner of the auction and real estate business. Duane was inducted into the IAA Hall of Fame in 2004.
Don started working alongside his father doing the clerking and working the ring in 1979. Gaining experience over the years he then obtained his real estate license in 1985 and auctioneers license in 1990.
He took over the business in 2012. Working alongside him are his wife Deb who helps in the real estate office as well as the field office work at auctions. His daughter Haley also works in the field office and clerks at auctions. His son Brady has worked the ring at auctions since 2006. Deb's son Jared assists when needed with advertising and computer work . They are the parents of 4 children Haley, Brady, Aaron and Jared . They are also proud grandparents of 5 beautiful grandchildren.
